I’m Back!

A little late…but better late than never!

I moved to a new place in August and have finally settled in. I hope to NEVER MOVE AGAIN, and I’ve been referring to my new digs as my ‘final resting place’. I think it’s funny, but most people cringe when I say that, as I’m not exactly a spring chicken.

Been working on the completion of my paranormal trilogy THE WIVES OF LUCIFER, and the final installment, THE NEXUS, is due out next week. Phew! It’s been a long time coming. Planning on getting back to my fifth book in THE STEEL AND DESIRE SERIES: UNBURNED in the next few weeks. In the meantime, I’m sharing my Halloween short story as published in DRUNKEN PEN Magazine. Just click on the link: https://rb.gy/wzkgfp and you’re there. Don’t forget to check out the author interview at the end. Enjoy! See you next month!

We’ve all read or heard about haunted houses. But have you ever read a story from the house’s perspective? Have you ever wondered how it became haunted in the first place?

POSTED ON  BY FEATURED WRITER IN SHORT STORIES.

To end our Halloween submission period we have a wonderfully creative horror story for you. Caryn McGill shares with us a unique story about a haunted house—only it’s from the house’s perspective.

In this creative and original tale you get to learn the history of a notoriously haunted house through the house’s point of view—making the house the protagonist, Caryn created a truly fresh take on the classic haunted house story with this piece, and we think you will absolutely love it! And don’t forget to check out our interview with Caryn after the story.

Cheers,
